How hard is it to photograph a wedding?

Out of focus, bad lighting, a hardly visible bride and bridegroom... everyone thinks they can photograph a wedding, but the results can leave a lot to be desired.

Earlier this week, after a couple successfully sued their wedding photographer over the poor quality of his images, the Magazine asked how hard is it to photograph a wedding?

Our pictures are fantastic and we are so pleased with the finnished product your style was just what we wanted. Everyone we have spoken to have praised you and your unique photography angles, always looking for that shot. We were so pleased you were part of our day - Jon & Lorraine

Graham & Sarah comments...

We would like to say a huge thank you for the stunning phottos of our wedding. You really captured the day and produced images we'll cherish forever. You were so discrete, so much so that our guests are calling you the "Stealth Photographer". You allowed us to get on with our day and really relax, and your photos show that - Best wishes Grahm & Sarah.

Jo & Nic comments...

Nick Grove is a true professional. Polite, calm, and unobtrusive; and produced some truly great images. As a photographer myself I was quite fussy about who we had for our wedding and I can't recommend him highly enough.

Graham & Natasha...20th September, Stapleford Park

Congratulations to Graham and Natasha on their marriage on the 20th September 2009 at Stapleford Park, near Melton Mowbray in Leicestershire. This was first wedding I've photographed at this wonderfully elegant hotel and it proved to be a really special wedding venue and wedding day with beautiful sunshine all day long. The wedding was held in the orangery and guests enjoyed  reception drinks in the beautiful grounds. We were delighted to be part of Graham & Natasha's wedding day. Here are just a few of their wedding photographs from the day...

Graham & Sarah... 12th September, Corpus Christi

Sarah & Cillian comments...

We were delighted to be able to see our photos so quickly after the wedding. We had a brief look when we were in the Maldives(the broadband facilities there are not ready for flash just yet) and had a closer look when we got home. We were really impressed with the quality of the pictures and also delighted with the success of all the different types of photos you suggested to us.

We have given a preview of the photos on your site to some of our close relations and there have been nothing but very positive comments and feedback. You seem to have captured their 'good sides'.

Overall,we were delighted with the quality of work and the way in which you achieved it. We really appreciated the enthusiasm you showed and an exceptional eye for a good shot. You even managed to handle a couple of over zealous relations as they attempted to hijack the running order of the formal shots! It was a bonus that the final prints were available before we returned from our honeymoon.
